SUNS SWEEP NO. 14 SOUTHERN ARKANSAS

MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Jalissa Gum fired a three-hit shutout in the opener and picked up two complete-game wins, while Gaby Vasquez turned in a four-hit day as the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns softball team (32-20, 26-14 Great American Conference) swept past No. 14 Southern Arkansas (38-14, 28-12) on Monday, winning the opener 5-0 before taking a 3-2 win in the nightcap.

  • The Golden Suns return home for the final series of the regular season, facing Southwestern Oklahoma at the Chartwells Women's Sports Complex. Friday's games begin at 3 p.m., while Saturday's games are slated for a noon start.
