GUM PITCHES GOLDEN SUNS PAST EAST CENTRAL

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark.  – Jalissa Gum picked up the wins in both ends of the doubleheader, firing a one-hit shutout and fanning 14, and then entering the nightcap with a bases-loaded, one-out jam and striking out five of the six hitters she faced, leading the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns softball team (24-12, 18-6 Great American Conference) sealed the series sweep of East Central (19-17, 10-14), winning 1-0 and 3-0 on Saturday at the Chartwells Women's Sports Complex.
