LATE RALLY PUSHES WONDER BOYS TO 1-0

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys rallied from four runs down to score the final eight runs of the contest to defeat the St. Mary's Rattlers, 10-6, on Friday.

  • Montiel made his first career start for the Wonder Boys, earning a no-decision after 4.2 innings and five strikeouts. Nate Rutherford and Sullivan combined for 2.1 innings on the mound, zero runs allowed and three strikeouts.
  • Bohuslav struck out four batters over the final two innings of play to record the first save of his Arkansas Tech career.
  • Klockowski sparked Tech's rally with his first career home run as a Wonder Boy, and Wescott scored two runs scored and two runs batted in the final four innings. Klockowski and Wescott combined for five of Tech's nine hits in the victory.
