ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The No. 8 seed Arkansas Tech baseball team (24-29), coming off a huge upset last week at top-seeded Southwestern Oklahoma continued its road win streak in Great American Conference Tournament play as the Wonder Boys went into Arkadelphia and upset No. 4 seed Henderson State (29-24) 3-2 at Clyde Berry Field Thursday afternoon.

The Wonder Boys took the lead in the fifth inning on a
Josh Watkins sacrifice fly to left field, scoring
Marcus Wilson to take a 2-1 lead.
Seth Wheeler added a clutch insurance run in the top of the eighth on a single to center field, scoring
Connor Brady to take a 3-1 lead as the Wonder Boys eventually held on for the 3-2 victory.

- With the win, Arkansas Tech moved to 3-0 in GAC Tournament play and will play tomorrow at 4 p.m. against the winner of the No. 2 seed Arkansas-Monticello and No. 3 seed Southeastern Oklahoma game at Clyde Berry Field in Arkadelphia.
