ARMSTRONG, WATKINS LEAD WONDER BOYS TO SPLIT WITH BOLL WEEVILS

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Josh Watkins hit a grand slam during a seven-run second inning and Trent Armstrong pitched a complete one-run game to lead the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys (15-21, 8-13 Great American Conference) to a doubleheader split against Arkansas-Monticello (22-8, 14-4 GAC), dropping the first game 6-2 before rebounding in the second game 8-1.
 
NEXT UP
  • The Wonder Boys will be back in-action for a midweek, non-conference game, as they will travel to Arkadelphia to take on Ouachita Baptist on Tuesday, April 5. The game is slated for a 2 p.m. start at Rab Rodgers Field.
