Jesse Harbin helped close out the final two innings as Arkansas Tech (3-3) held on to a 7-6 victory over Missouri Western (1-2) Sunday afternoon at Tech Field. With the win, Tech took two out of three games in the series after the Wonder Boys and Griffons split the doubleheader on Saturday.

NEXT UPArkansas Tech will travel to Arkadelphia for the Henderson State Invitational on Friday, Feb. 12 as the Wonder Boys will open the invite against Northwestern Missouri State at 6 p.m.

OF RECORDNOTABLES- Junior first baseman Kaleb Warden reached base four times for Tech, going 3-for-4 from the plate, drew a walk and scored a run.
- With three more runs batted in on the day, O'Dell currently leads the Wonder Boys on the season in that category with nine. O'Dell finished the day going 1-for-3 from the plate with a walk and a stolen base.
- Josh Watkins had another multi-hit game, going 2-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored. Mark Vaughn had his first multi-hit game of the season going 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.
- Bohuslav earned his first win of the season, pitching a scoreless eighth inning with some defensive help by Vaughn at third, who ended the eighth on a diving stop on a sharp groundball and threw out the batter at first from across the diamond.
- Harbin earned his second save of the season, pitching a scoreless ninth with just a hit, a walk, and a strikeout. Marcus Wilson caught a fly ball in left field for the final out of the game.
