Kaleb Warden picked up a pair of hits, while both
Marcus Wilson and
Collin O'Neil scored a pair of runs, but the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys baseball team (0-1) was unable to overcome timely hitting from the No. 15 St. Mary's Rattlers (1-0), falling 10-6 in the two teams' season opener on Friday at Dickson Stadium.

- Trent Armstrong took the loss for the Wonder Boys, falling to 0-1 on the season after surrendering six runs, five earned, on six hits in 4.1 innings of work. The junior fanned two and walked one.
- Lane Norwood relieved Armstrong in the fifth and pitched 1.2 scoreless innings, allowing just one hit and fanning two.
