Box Score WEATHERFORD, Okla. – The eight-seed Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys baseball team (23-29) will advance to Arkadelphia in the Great American Conference Tournament after upsetting top-seeded Southwestern Oklahoma (33-15) for the second day in a row, topping the Bulldogs 13-6 Saturday afternoon in Weatherford, Oklahoma.

The Wonder Boys rallied from a 6-2 deficit, scoring 11 unanswered runs in the final four frames. Down 6-5 in the seventh inning with the bases loaded with two outs,
Seth Wheeler slapped a two-RBI single to left field to give Tech the 7-6 lead. Two pitches later,
Marcus Wilson put the game away with a three-run blast to left center field to make it a 10-5 ballgame.
Collin O'Neil added a pair of insurance runs in the eighth and ninth innings to give the Wonder Boys the victory.

NEXT UP
Arkansas Tech will travel to Arkadelphia next week to take on No. 4 seed Henderson State (29-23) in the next round of the GAC Tournament. The game is slated for a 1 p.m. first pitch on Thursday, May 12 at Clyde Berry Field on the Henderson State campus.
